Bentwood Ring - Imbuya Pomelle w/offset Sterling Silver inlay on deer antler ring core - wood ring

This is a beautiful, handcrafted Artisan ring made in my small shop in Ottawa, Ontario, in Canada. Imbuya Pomelle Burl is a truly stunning exotic wood with a gorgeous colouration that combines deep browns with a darker, swirling striped patterning. This ring features a beautiful offset sterling silver wire inlay. The design is offered on a sustainably harvested (cast off) comfort fit core in widths of 6mm or 8mm - but please inquire about many other custom inner ring core options. US full and half ring sizes from 5 - 13 are available. Each ring is sealed and finished to a high polish. If you require a custom order at a different size, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate. These rings are made using the Bentwood technique. This method of wrapping several layers of stabilised wood veneer around the core results in a stronger, more beautiful ring than those simply cut from blocks.

IMPORTANT - RING SIZING:

Ring sizing is provided in standard US measure. Sizing is the sole responsibility of the customer, so please be certain. Note that wider rings rings will fit a bit more snugly. Your best option for accurate sizing is a jeweler, or ring sizers you can purchase online. All of my rings come with comfort fit profiling on the inner core. This is a slight radius at both edges that greatly improves comfort. Please be sure to mention this and also your desired ring width to any jeweler that is consulted.

RING CARE:

The rings are all well stabilised, but it is advised to avoid prolonged submersion in water, such as for bathing, swimming, or doing dishes (particularly for the wood rings). Your ring will last many years if cared for properly. An occasional light buffing with wood or metal appropriate polish will keep your handmade ring looking great. Please avoid harsh abrasives.
