Hammered Tungsten Carbide Ring with Handset Contemporary Mustang Fordi

This beautiful Artisan ring is handcrafted in my small shop in Ottawa, Canada. This ring is offered with a handset, genuine contemporary Mustang Fordite inlay in a hammered tungsten carbide comfort fit core. Every piece of inlay material in this beautiful design has been cut and shaped to fit by hand. Fordite, or "Detroit agate," is a unique, upcycled material composed of hardened, multi-layered overspray paint from automotive factory paint booths. As cars were hand-sprayed and baked, layers built up, creating colorful, stone-like patterns when cut and polished into jewelry. The 2020's Mustang material is particularly desirable, and originates at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan. US full and half ring sizes from 5 - 13 are available, in widths of 6mm or 8mm. If you require a custom order at a different size, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate. Note that the Corvette Fordite is significantly more expensive than our standard Fordite products.

RING CARE:

The rings are all well stabilised, but it is advised to avoid prolonged submersion in water, such as for bathing, swimming, or doing dishes (particularly for the wood rings). Your ring will last many years if cared for properly. An occasional light buffing with wood or metal appropriate polish will keep your handmade ring looking great. Please avoid harsh abrasives.
