This beautiful Artisan ring is handcrafted in my small shop in Ottawa, Canada. This ring is offered with a stunning Fordite inlay in a tungsten carbide comfort fit core with domed edges. Fordite, or "Detroit agate," is a unique, upcycled material composed of hardened, multi-layered overspray paint from automotive factory paint booths, primarily in the 1960s–70s. As cars were hand-sprayed and baked, layers built up, creating colorful, stone-like patterns when cut and polished into jewelry. Due to modern, efficient painting methods, genuine, high-quality Fordite is now rare and considered a "motor city" vintage collectible. US full and half ring sizes from 5 - 13 are available, in widths of 6mm or 8mm. If you require a custom order at a different size, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate.

RING CARE:
The rings are all well stabilised, but it is advised to avoid prolonged submersion in water, such as for bathing, swimming, or doing dishes (particularly for the wood rings). Your ring will last many years if cared for properly. An occasional light buffing with wood or metal appropriate polish will keep your handmade ring looking great. Please avoid harsh abrasives.
